Green Goddess Smoothie

It is not just me who has been sick the last couple of week. Everyone is!

Its been nearly two weeks of this, but thanks to my awesome FlyWheel babe, Nourie, I have been getting all my essential vits, to help my body fight of the infection.

Now, I am not a massive fan of juicing.. only because you lose all the goodness in the pulp. And for something that is relatively high in calories, it should really fill you up more then a juice does. So bring ont he smoothie! Filling, as it should be, replacing either breakfast or your morning or afternoon snack, is a hydrating, vitamin and mineral full. Obviously got for organic when you can.

Invest in a good quality blender, I have bought about 6 in my life time when buying the cheap ones.. you get what you pay for. If you get a juicer, make sure its cold presser.

A good way to go when making a green juice is to do even ratio of vegs/fruit/liquid. Add a natural protein or a vegan protein shake, which is going to keep you full and give you all the nutrients you need.

This recipe is inspired by Nourie.
